An offshore wind farm which could become the largest in the world has been given development consent by the government.<\/p>\n
Up to 325 turbines will be installed as part of the East Anglia One wind farm, which will be 27 miles (43km) off the Suffolk coast.<\/p>\n
Energy Secretary Ed Davey said it could \u00ab\u00a0inject millions of pounds into the local and national economies\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
About 2,900 jobs are expected to be created as part of the scheme.<\/p>\n
